What’s Included in
Every Website Build
The foundation for all website projects
Every website starts with a strong foundation. This means your site is planned properly from the beginning, not just how it looks, but how it works, how people move through it, and how clearly it explains your business.
From structure and design to search-ready foundations and launch setup, each website is built to help visitors understand what you do, find what they need, and take the next step with confidence.
Strategy & Planning
Before any design begins, your website is planned with clarity and purpose.
- Clear planning for your pages, elements and layout
- A simple structure that helps visitors understand what you do
- Guidance on what matters most, so your website starts with the right foundation
Design & Review Process
Homepage-led design approach
The homepage is designed first to establish the overall look, layout, and design direction for your website.
You’ll review the homepage and provide feedback before the design is rolled out across the remaining pages. This helps ensure consistency and avoids revisiting the same design decisions multiple times.
Once all pages are complete, you’ll review the website as a whole before final refinements are made ahead of launch.
Revisions
Included revisions
Your project includes up to three structured review stages:
Homepage design review
Full website review once all pages are built
Final refinement round prior to launch
This approach allows for considered feedback while keeping the project moving forward smoothly.
Search-Ready Foundations
Your website is built with clear structure from the beginning, so it is easier for visitors and search engines to understand.
- Clear page headings and content structure
- Search-friendly titles, metadata and image basics
- Set up properly from the start, not patched together later
V.I.S.I.B.L.E. Website Framework
Your website is planned using the V.I.S.I.B.L.E. Framework, so each page has a clear purpose and supports the way visitors move through your site.
- A clear plan for how your website is structured
- Page flow designed to help visitors move through your site with confidence
- A foundation built around clarity, trust, visibility and action
Performance & Responsiveness
Your website is built to work smoothly across common desktop, tablet and mobile screen sizes, so visitors can easily read, navigate and take action.
- Mobile-responsive layout across common devices
- Image optimisation to support load speed
- Basic usability checks across key screen sizes
- Adjustments for readability, spacing and navigation where needed
Google & Online Presence Setup
Your website is connected to key tools that help with tracking, search visibility and online presence.
- Google Analytics connection
- Google Search Console setup
- Google Business Profile setup or review, where required
Tools & Technical Setup
Your website is set up with the key technical foundations needed to launch properly and run smoothly.
- Website setup and launch configuration
- Contact form setup and testing
- Google tools connection where required
- Domain connection support
- Basic Google Workspace setup support where required

Hosting and ongoing website care are provided through the Emmagraphy Website Care Plan and are billed separately from website design projects.
Domain names, Google Workspace subscriptions and third-party platform fees are purchased separately by the client.
Selected premium tools are included while your website is on an active Emmagraphy Website Care Plan. Any tools outside the existing Emmagraphy licence stack will be discussed before purchase or installation.
Training, Launch + 14-Day Support
Your website package includes a simple handover and launch support so the final stage feels clear and supported.
- Website training session so the site feels easier to understand and manage
- Guided website launch with final checks in place
- 14 days of launch support for minor launch-related fixes, link checks, form checks and basic handover questions
Please note: Launch support is not an extra revision round or ongoing design support window. New pages, new sections, content rewrites or changes outside the agreed scope are quoted separately.

Websites designed with purpose
to support your business, improve visibility,
and attract the right clients
Strategic Website Design, Made Simple
1. Share your vision
Once you choose your package, you’ll complete a detailed project form.
This is where you share information about your business, your services, your goals, and any inspiration you have. The more you share, the better, it helps me fully understand your business before design begins.
Your answers don’t need to be perfect. This step is about clarity, not getting everything “right”.
Once your form is complete, we’ll confirm your start date and timeline.
2. Design Direction and Build
Your homepage is designed first to set the overall look and direction for your website.
Once the homepage is approved, that design is carried through the rest of your pages and features. This keeps everything consistent and avoids unnecessary back-and-forth.
Your website is built with a clear structure so it’s easy to use and supports your business goals.
3. Review and Launch
You’ll review the completed website and request any final changes.
Once approved, your website is launched and you’ll receive training so you feel confident using it. Hosting and support are included for the first two months after launch.

FAQS: Your website design
questions, answered
Clear answers to help you understand what’s included, how the process works, and whether this is the right fit for your business.
What does “strategic website design” actually mean?
Strategic website design means your website is planned with purpose, not guesswork.
It follows a considered, proven approach and is designed with your audience in mind first. When your website is clear for your audience, it works better for you too.
A strategic website is also built on strong foundations, with the right structure and search-ready fundamentals in place. This means your site is set up to be found through Google and modern AI-driven search, and to support your business as it grows, not just at launch.
What is the V.I.S.I.B.L.E. framework?
The V.I.S.I.B.L.E. framework is the behind-the-scenes approach I use to guide every website build.
It helps make sure your website is:
Easy for people to understand and move through
Designed to build trust and feel professional
Set up so people can find you through Google and AI search
Clear about what visitors should do next
Simple to manage and update over time
You won’t see this method stamped all over your website.
It works quietly in the background to make sure nothing important is missed.
What do you mean by “website elements”?
What are website elements?
Website elements are the pages and features that make up your website.
Instead of locking you into a big package or fixed number of pages, this approach lets your website be built around what your business actually needs — now and later.
You choose the elements that make sense for your business, with guidance to make sure everything works together and supports your goals (not just fills space).
Website elements can include:
Key pages like Home, About, Contact, and Services
Extra pages like FAQs, blogs, or case studies
Tools to help people get in touch, such as email sign-ups or booking systems
Sales pages or online shop features
Why this approach works
This flexible setup keeps your website:
easy to adjust
aligned with your stage of business
ready to change as your needs change
I’m not tech-savvy. Will I be able to manage my website?
You don’t need to be tech-savvy.
You’ll receive guided website training so you understand how your site works and how to make simple updates if you want to. Hosting and support are included for the first two months after launch, so you’re supported from the start.
If your website is built on WordPress and hosted with me, an ongoing Website Care Plan is required. This keeps your site secure, up to date, and running properly over time.
Instead of worrying about the technical side, you’ll have a long-term website partner who looks after updates, maintenance, and support, and is there when you need help or changes later on.
Is hosting included in my website package?
No. Website hosting and ongoing maintenance are provided through the Emmagraphy Website Care Plan and are billed separately from website design projects.
Your website package includes training and 14 days of launch support after your website goes live. This covers minor launch-related fixes, link checks, form checks and basic handover questions.
If your website is hosted with Emmagraphy, your Website Care Plan begins from the date your website is transferred or launched.
If you prefer to host your website elsewhere, that’s completely fine. Any required hosting setup, migration or handover support can be discussed before launch.
How will this website help me attract more clients?
Your website is designed to make it easy for the right people to find you, understand what you offer, and feel confident getting in touch.
It does this by:
clearly explaining what you do and who you help
building trust through a professional look and clear layout
guiding visitors toward the next step, like contacting you or booking
being set up properly so people can find you through Google and online search
Instead of just existing online, your website works as part of your marketing that helps turn visitors into enquiries.
How long will it take to build my website?
Timelines depend on the package you choose and how quickly content and feedback are provided.
Website 3-Day Launch: built over 3 focused business days for the key pages only, once all content is ready
Additional pages or features: require extra time beyond the 3-day build
Signature & Premium builds: typically completed within 4–8 weeks
I’ll guide you through each step to keep things moving smoothly.
Staying responsive and providing information on time helps keep your project on schedule.
Delays in content or feedback can extend the timeline.
Do I need to provide anything for the website build?
You’ll need to provide your logo, brand colours, and written content, along with any photos or images you already have.
If you don’t have a logo or brand colours yet, I can help create simple, professional options using Canva, so your website still looks polished and consistent. This is ideal if you’re starting out or refreshing an older brand.
Your written content doesn’t need to be perfect. It helps me understand your business, your services, and your voice. I’ll organise and structure your content using my V.I.S.I.B.L.E. Framework, so your website is clear, easy to read, and guides visitors toward the right next step.
If you don’t have images, I can create simple graphics and supporting visuals so your website still feels complete.
You won’t be left guessing, I’ll guide you through what’s needed, when it’s needed, and what matters most for your stage of business.
Can you redesign my existing website?
Absolutely! If you have an existing site that needs an update, I can assess whether a refresh or a full rebuild is the best option. Let’s chat about what works best for your business.
What platform will my website be built on?
Most websites are built on WordPress. It offers the most flexibility and control, which works well for businesses that want a website they can grow and use long term.
That said, WordPress isn’t the right fit for everyone.
If you already use or prefer another platform, I can also build your website using Squarespace, Wix, Showit, or Pixieset. No matter the platform, the same clear structure, thoughtful design, and strategic approach are used.
During the planning stage, we’ll choose the platform that best suits your business, your comfort level, and how you want to manage your website going forward.
What are SEO and AEO fundamentals?
SEO and AEO are the behind-the-scenes basics that help your website be understood and found online.
This includes things like:
how your pages are laid out
how your content is organised
how headings and page details are set up
These foundations help your website make sense to Google and modern AI search tools, as well as real people.
They don’t guarantee instant results, and they’re not tricks or shortcuts. Instead, they make sure your website is built properly from the start, so it’s ready to support visibility over time.
In simple terms, SEO and AEO fundamentals help your website be:
easy to understand
easy to find
trustworthy for both people and technology
What is a domain name, and why should I own it?
A domain name is your website address, like yourbusiness.com.
Owning your domain name means you are in control of your website and email — not a platform, developer, or third party. It’s an important part of your business identity and should always belong to you.
When you own your domain:
you can move your website if you ever need to
your email stays connected to your business
you’re not locked into one provider
I’ll help you connect your domain to your website, but the domain itself should always be registered in your name or business name.
Why do I need a professional domain email address?
A domain email address uses your website name, like hello@yourbusiness.com.
Using a professional email helps your business look credible and trustworthy, especially when people are contacting you for the first time. Free email addresses can look less professional and are more likely to end up in spam folders.
Using a paid email service like Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 also means:
better email delivery and reliability
improved security and spam protection
easy access across devices
Your email subscription is separate from your website, but I can help you set it up and connect everything correctly.
