Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Emmagraphy, every project involves upfront strategy, research, technical setup, and reserved studio time. To ensure clarity and fairness for both parties, the following refund and cancellation policy applies to all services.

1. Website Design & Redesign Projects (3-Month Instalment Plans)

For larger website redesign projects, payment is made via a 3-month instalment plan.

The first instalment is non-refundable.
This payment secures your place in my schedule and covers initial work including (but not limited to):

  • Strategy and planning

  • Research and discovery

  • Technical setup and platform configuration

  • Project onboarding and administration

  • Any third-party transfer or setup fees

By proceeding with the first instalment, you are confirming your commitment to the project and acceptance of these terms.

2. Cancellation by the Client (Website Projects)

If you choose to cancel your project after work has commenced:

  • The first instalment remains non-refundable

  • Any work completed beyond that first instalment will be invoiced accordingly

  • No further instalments will be charged once the project is formally cancelled

If cancellation occurs before work begins, any payments made (excluding the first instalment) will be refunded.

3. Cancellation by Emmagraphy

In the unlikely event that Emmagraphy needs to terminate a project:

  • Any payments made beyond the first instalment for work not yet completed will be refunded

  • Work completed up to the cancellation point will be supplied where appropriate

4. AI, SEO & Digital Optimisation Services

Services such as AI Search Visibility setup, SEO optimisation, website audits, and digital strategy services involve immediate delivery of expertise, research, configuration, and implementation.

Once these services have commenced, refunds are not available.

If you have questions or concerns during delivery, please raise them as early as possible so they can be addressed promptly.

5. Ongoing Website Care & Maintenance Plans

Website care and maintenance subscriptions may be cancelled at any time.

  • No cancellation fees apply

  • Services will continue until the end of the current billing period

  • No refunds are provided for partially used billing cycles

Important hosting note:
If your website is hosted with Emmagraphy, cancelling your care plan does not immediately cancel hosting. You are responsible for arranging alternative hosting before the end of your billing cycle. Once a care plan is cancelled, Emmagraphy no longer provides maintenance, updates, or technical support.

6. General Notes

  • Refunds are not provided for change-of-mind decisions once work has commenced

  • Clear communication throughout the project helps ensure the best possible outcome

  • Proceeding with any service confirms acceptance of this policy
