Digital marketing and SEO help for small businesses
A good website that's gone quiet
It’s rarely one thing. Your website, Google profile, forms, emails and social media are all there, but they’re not connected. A Check-Up shows you what’s wrong, what to fix first, and how to tell when it’s working.
Why it's quiet
It's never just one thing
Your Google profile is half done
It's unverified, half filled in, or doesn't match what your website says.
Enquiries go missing
A form stopped sending months ago, and nobody noticed.
Nobody knows what's working
There's no way to tell which posts, pages or ads actually bring work in.
Others show up first
Local searches show other businesses before yours, even when you're the better fit.
AI tools get you wrong
ChatGPT and Google's AI answers describe your business wrongly, or not at all.
Posts don't lead anywhere
You post on social media, but it doesn't bring people back to your website.

What's promised
No promised rankings. Real signs of progress.
Nobody can honestly promise page one of Google. What you can check for yourself is whether things are moving: calls and views on your Google profile, enquiries through your website, and email sign-ups.
01 Start with a Check-Up
Find out what's working, what isn't, and what matters most for your business.
02 Follow the plan
Work through it yourself or with your team, or hand some of it over. Anything done for you is priced before it starts.
03 Keep it going
The 90-day plan keeps you on track. When your business changes, a fresh Check-Up shows what to do next.

I'd been looking for this kind of support for a long time. The two reports she provided were incredibly helpful and gave me a clear idea of what was working well, what needed improving, and where to focus my efforts.
It's such a relief to have someone I can turn to for this kind of support.

Forging Roots
Kristy runs Forging Roots Education, tutoring for children with dyscalculia, ADHD and other learning needs. Her Check-Up found Google Analytics was counting every visit as a success, and couldn't see a single booking, quiz sign-up or shop sale.
She worked through most of her Fix Guide herself and handed three fixes over. Now her bookings, quiz sign-ups and sales are all counted, and her website is faster on phones: Google's phone score went from about 71 to about 82.
Good questions
Questions people ask
What do you actually do for SEO?
Mostly, it's coaching. The Check-Up looks at your website, your Google Business Profile, your business details across the web and whether Google can find every page, then puts what to do in order. You or your team can work through it, or hand parts of it over.
There's no monthly SEO retainer. Anything done for you is priced before it starts.
Can you guarantee page one of Google?
No, and be wary of anyone who does. The focus is on what you can check: your Google profile, your pages, and whether enquiries arrive.
Do you do social media?
Your social profiles can be set up and linked back to your website. Day-to-day posting isn't offered, but advice on what to post, and where, is part of the Check-Up's marketing plan.
What about AI search, like ChatGPT?
AI tools like ChatGPT and Google's AI Overviews lean on your website, your Google Business Profile and your reviews when they describe local businesses. If those say clearly what you do, who for and where, and your details match everywhere, you're much easier to describe correctly.
Nobody can control whether an AI tool mentions you.
Do I need a new website first?
Not usually. Most of this work is done on the website you already have. If it really does need replacing, you'll be told.
How long until I see a difference?
Some fixes, like a broken form, help straight away. Search and Google profile work takes longer, usually months rather than weeks.
What does it cost?
Every piece of work is priced before it starts. You'll find every price on the pricing page.
